Let's be honest.... Taylor's are the most playable acoustic guitars on the market. Their necks are as comfortable as it gets. This 414 has a tropical mahogany neck in satin finish. This is the key to why it is so playable. Comfortable neck shape and a fast satin finish. Renowned for blending modern, innovative manufacturing techniques with a master craftsman's attention to detail, Taylor guitars are widely considered among the best-sounding and easiest to play in the world, this guitar is no exception and a very remarkable guitar, the balance of sound from a 414 is unlike anything else in this price range.

This fine 414 resonates extremely well while still maintaining that bright Taylor tone that we all know and love, thanks to the very balanced Spruce and Ovangkol tone wood selection. A recent setup has been performed here at our shop by our talented luthiers and she has phenomenally low action for fast and smooth playing in any genre, while the double-bound back and sides give it a gorgeous aesthetic appeal. The condition is excellent has only a few minor, and very small dings that do no t go through the finish but can be seen under the correct conditions of bright overhead lighting and tilting the guitar at just the right angle, please request photo's if you'd like a visual representation. Aside from that this guitar has some very striking features like the flaming on the soundboard and there's a lot of chatoyance when viewing the Ovangkol back and side it's very vivid and leaps out visually when viewing from different angles, it's quite striking and visually appealing. The tortoise pick guard has been replaced with a clear guard and it really makes this beautiful guitar all that much more attractive, it's a very nice touch and looks quite classy.

Original hard shell case included with all the leaflets and owners use and care manuals from original purchase included. Please note that the Taylor Expression System on this guitar is currently non-functional and when we reached out to Taylor for replacement parts we were told that they no longer keep that inventory in stock, so this guitar is being sold as strictly as an acoustic, and not and acoustic/ electric at the moment. We do have some alternatives on hand like K and K or LR Baggs that we'd be happy to install in the negotiations/ communication of the final sale price of the guitar for those who might be interested. So reach out and inquire if more information is needed.... However this guitar sounds and plays amazing as-is and can definitely stand alone as a high quality acoustic without the pickup system.
