Wow! We have a really nice, and really rare 1920s Martin (8-string) Taropatch Ukulele handcrafted by C.F. Martin & Co. of Nazareth, PA. No serial numbers were used back then, so its a bit difficult to nail this down to a specific year in the 1920s, this little gem is about 100 years old, and all things considered is in pretty darn good condition for its age. Comes with its original case as well as modern hard shell case that is much more practical storage and travel.  This Martin Taropatch ukulele was handcrafted of a Mahogany wood top, back, sides, and bridge with a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. Two-ring concentric circle rosette and 8-string tuning configuration Classic vintage Martin wood stain and natural finish. Single top purfling line and top Rosewood binding for aesthetic appeal. Please note that for the sake of historical preservation we have left the old strings on, in order for this ukulele to be playable again it will need a restring. The video embedded in this listing is provide an audible representation of what these 1920s ukes sound like.... which absolutely amazing. However they are the exact same ukes.
