When a company starts off with a high quality product, and then later the quality lessens in favor of faster and higher production numbers... people will often say "They just don't make em like they used to"..... because people remember how nice the quality was in days gone by.... and that's exactly the case with this finely crafted guitar!! These American Series Breedlove guitars used to be built in Bend, Oregon, using high quality products made right in the USA no parts or designs were shipped to other countries. These guitars represent the true American spirit, using quality parts and Breedlove's famous craftsmanship, producing instruments that will stand the test of time and look absolutely beautiful in the process. They no longer make these American Series Breedlove's which is a lot of bang for your buck here in a guitar, other guitar builders of a similar construction and quality are listed for thousands of dollars more than this wonderful guitar we are offering today.
Breedlove guitars are known for their soft cutaways and easy flowing style lines, their guitars are sure to catch anyone’s eye. This particular guitar is a concert style body with the signature cutaway. The body is a combination between AAA Western Red Cedar and AAA East Indian Rosewood. AAA Western Red Cedar is a softer and more elastic. It’s known for it’s clear, crisp tone. AAA East Indian Rosewood is typically a darker, warmer tone. As you can imagine, they provide a very nice balance to each other. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at the clarity and balance this guitar provides. Open chords are articulate and rich, while it’s easy to capture a very dynamic and vibrant tone with percussive strumming and finger picking.
The rest of the body is tastefully topped off with Ivoroid and Herringbone Top Purfling, and an Abolone Rosette. The neck has very comfortable medium to slim C shape and makes playing effortless, and a lot of fun as well. Ebony fretboard and headstock overlay with mother of pearl position markers round out this guitar, the original deluxe hard shell case is included with purchase.
This C25 Breedlove also features the factory installed L.R. Baggs "The Element Active Volume and Tone control" (VTC) pairs the Element under-saddle transducer with a pre-contoured all-discrete class-A endpin preamp, and includes a small, removable soundhole mounted volume and tone control for added convenience and versatility.
This guitar is an absolute steal for the price, they don't make em anymore, and they rarely come up for sale as they are extremely popular with those who've had the pleasure to play one. The crew here at our shop really dig this wonderful guitar!!
