Rare, beautiful, little Les Paul Jr. for sale! 1957 is the year, we don't need to tell you if you are looking at this, you know why, and what makes these original 50's era vintage Gibson's so highly desired and sought after by guitar enthusiasts around the world. There will be a lot of eyes on this beauty, and she shreds! Oh how this LP Jr shreds! Feels absolutely amazing in the hands, the neck is little chunky, but it plays and feels like a slimmer neck, it just have the perfect chuckiness and curve to the neck, it feels like an old friend when you pick it up. She also sounds absolutely amazing, has all the original wiring, pots, electronics, and dog eared P90's twangs with the volume rolled back, but wide open its a raging lion.... makes a killer rock or blues guitar!! Please see our demo video to hear this awesome guitar for yourself.  Great condition for its age and beautiful checking and overall wear and patina over the entirety of the guitar, see photos for details. What makes a 1957 a bit different than the 54' - 55' is the fact they made a minor but important change in 56'.....  "Threaded post inserts which are sunk into the body for the wrap-around tailpiece increased in length. This modification stops the posts from leaning forward. This was a common problem on 1954 and 1955 Les Paul Juniors, and often cracked the wood between the posts and the pickup. Also the pickup was moved slightly towards the neck to allow more wood between the pickup route and the bridge posts. This happened in early 1956" (source, guitarhq.com). This LP Jr comes with a very nice, and solid non original, but newer Epiphone hard shell case, that fits this guitar like a glove! Also the tuners are accurate Deluxe model that would have came on this but are newer. That being said, the original Deluxe tuners are included, some of the keys are missing though, see photos.
