The VR, Vintage Reissue, was a limited run model featuring vintage specs including vintage aging toner, snowflake inlay, and a soft V shaped neck, and a pearl inlaid signature of C.F. Martin IV. This pre-owned D45VR is a big-sounding dreadnought with beautiful highs, balanced bass and clear mids. It features a solid spruce top, with forward shifted X-bracing, and East Indian Rosewood back and sides. The neck is made of mahogany with a comfortable V-shape and an adjustable truss rod. It's all accented with Style 45 appointments, from its abalone rosette and top binding, to its style 45 pufling/ back-strip and back binding, as well as the abalone snowflake inlay on the fingerboard. It is in very good condition beside the usual dings and traces of playwear it is still very clean. Center seam crack has been professionally repaired on this guitar. Original tuning machines available with purchase, it currently has upgraded Waverly 4026-G tuners installed. An LR Baggs Lyric pickup has also been installed, ready for performing!! We have provided some pictures at the end of the center seam repair and a small ding on the top.
