This unique Bourgeois is the "Martin Simpson" or "MS Custom" model. This is an excellent sounding guitar, designed as a dreadnought/jumbo/OM hybrid, with a 12 fret neck joint. It boasts an Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a 25.4" scale mahogany neck with a 1-3/4" width ebony fingerboard, ivory nut, saddle, and bridge pins, ebony bridge with 2 3/8" spacing, gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons, an abalone rosette, dot inlays, a clear pickguard, and an LR Baggs Anthem pickup.
This guitar is in very good condition, it's been lightly played and does have some pickguard scratches, a couple minor scattered clear coat dings on the top and back, and a few small surface scratches on the back, and a small piece of binding is missing from the bottom of the fingerboard that used to span across and connect the binding on the bass side to the treble side (see last photo). For those that are very particular about the small blemishes please request more photos because we were limited to 25 pictures and couldn't include every small knick we found, thanks! The neck and frets are in excellent shape with no issues. The action is nice and medium-low (perfect for this acoustic) and the guitar plays and sounds great! Includes hard shell case.
