This is a small-group, hands-on professional guitar setup masterclass held inside my working repair shop in Escondido, California.
This is not a lecture, demo, or classroom-style course. You’ll be working directly at the bench, evaluating real instruments, making setup decisions, and learning the same diagnostic and judgment-based approach I use every day in real-world repair work.
Each session is intentionally kept small so every participant gets direct access, meaningful hands-on time, and focused instruction in a professional shop environment.
What to expect:
-
A full-day, in-shop experience (approximately 7 hours)
-
Direct instruction at the bench inside my repair shop
-
Evaluation, diagnosis, and professional setup decision-making
-
Real instruments, real-world scenarios, and practical context
-
A small-group format designed for depth, not speed
Group size:
Limited to three participants per session.
What to bring:
Participants should plan on bringing two guitars (electric and/or acoustic).
If you have preferred strings, please bring at least two sets per guitar, as strings can occasionally break during setup work.
Important notes:
-
This is an in-person experience only
-
Seating is limited by available bench space
-
Once a session is booked, that date is closed
This masterclass is designed for players and technicians who want to understand how professional setup decisions are actually made, not just follow measurements or step-by-step recipes.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn this work directly at the bench, inside a real repair shop, this experience is built for that.
