This pickup - in this case a Seymour Duncan JB, one of SD's most popular pickups of all time - we have a bridge position, high-output humbucker with a full and powerful low end, and crisp, detailed highs.

Despite also only sporting a Volume control pot, the tone and output of this pickup makes it suitable for a wide range of rock, metal, punk, and even blues music.
