We have a lovely OM Boutique build guitar here today that was acquired by a dear friend and local customer of ours. The build quality, and attention to detail that went into making this instrument is just exceptional! As you can see in the photo's the highly figured bookmatched flame koa is simply gorgeous, the pairing with a sitka soundboard makes this guitar sound as good as she looks. The original owner wanted some adjustments made to this guitar a few months back and in the photo's you can see that the bridge has been re-glued from it's original placement. We were told that this was sent to the luthier who built it to ensure that the work was professionally done. The luthier whose skilled hands created this work of art is name Vince DeFrancis and is a local luthier to the Denver, Colorado area. Those of you guitar enthusiasts from the Denver area are very likely to know that name quite well as he is a local legend in his own right. Vince sells his guitars thru the local high end mom and pop shops in the area, and is very well known, and highly regarded by those who've had the pleasure of playing his guitars first hand. Our honest opinion is this is an overall fantastic guitar, that plays great, and only the highest quality material and construction methods were used.... the next owner of this guitar will be extremely pleased with their purchase, there's a TON of "bang for your buck" here! If the headstock said Martin or Taylor etc... you could easily drop about $7K for an exquisite build like have here for your consideration.
